Depot Cinema has volunteered to be an issuing point for us, having had, as Carmen Slijpen director told us, visitors to town coming in asking where they can get Lewes Pounds. Skylark, downstairs in the Needlemakers, will also now exchange your sterling for Lewes Pounds. While down there you can enjoy a great selection of books, cards and artistic wares, including fair-traded items.

Poppy’s, in the Riverside, is also an issuing point and, of course, you can meet all your sweet-tooth requirements and support a local business by spending Lewes Pounds there

The Patisserie Lewes has moved from Station Street to the High Street, but continues to be a Lewes Pound issuing point. And it’s a great cafe too, so you can exchange your Lewes Pounds and enjoy an excellent coffee!

Thank you also to the Town Hall, Richards butchers and Harvey’s, which continue to support the Lewes Pound by acting as issuing points.

Meanwhile there is an exciting new addition to the retail offer in Lewes in the form of The Seasons, just opened in Cliffe High Street and eager to accept Lewes Pounds Where better to spend your Lewes Pounds than on its array of local, organic and plastic-free health foods, cosmetics and more?
